Chicken Meatballs with Oyster Sauce

 

  • Ground chicken  500g.
  • 3 tablespoons of finely chopped coriander
  • 1 cup of finely chopped onion
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup of water
  • Asparagus (optional)
  • Cooking oil
  • 5 tablespoons of Thick Oyster Sauce Healthy Boy Brand 
  • 1 tablespoon of palm sugar
  • 2 teaspoons of corn starch (mix with water)
  • 3 tablespoons of finely chopped garlic
Instructions
1. Marinate chicken, chopped garlic, chopped coriander and chopped onion (save some chopped onions for stir-fry later) with 2 tablespoons of Thick Oyster Sauce Healthy Boy Brand for 30 minutes.
2. Add cooking oil in a saucepan. Scoop the ground chicken mixture into meatballs and deep-fry until golden brown. Set aside.
3. In the same pan, stir-fry chopped onions until fragrant. Season with 3 tablespoons of Thick Oyster Sauce Healthy Boy Brand. Add water and palm sugar, stir until all blended. Add asparagus in the sauce and follow with the chicken meatballs. Cover with a lid. Simmer for a few minutes until asparagus is just crisp-tender and the meatballs are fully cooked. Transfer to a plate and serve.
